Perfect code doesn't build a business.
Most founders who reach us have already paid for one build. It came back clean, well architected, and pointed at the wrong problem — over budget, and leaving them no leverage over their own product.
We have run engineering at three VC-backed startups and watched it happen from the inside. Engineering quality is table stakes; it is not what decides whether a product finds a market. So the work starts before the first commit, with what is actually worth building.

- A spec that goes straight into a sprint is one nobody stress tested. We push back in writing first and agree what to cut, because the cheapest feature is the one never built.
